About us

We have been selling tailor-made shirts via ShirtbyHand.com since 2006. From our head office in Amsterdam we coordinate the orders and manage our tailors in Vietnam.

ShirtbyHand Middle East

Our Middle East office is part of Dutch Design Collective General Trading LLC and located in a warehouse in industrial area Al Quoz 4, Street 12, Dubai, UAE. From this base we contact our customers and it is also the starting point for our colleagues who are on the road on a daily basis to measure people on both an individual as well as corporate basis. Our concept is to come to you to take your measurements but if you like to come and visit us one day you are of course welcome. We are happy to offer you coffee and have a chat.

Production Company Vietnam

After two years of steady growth we realized that we needed more control over the production process. Along with a local Vietnamese partner (joint venture) we opened our own ShirtbyHand Production Company Vietnam specialized in making shirts just for us.

Our team in Vietnam consist of 44 people who all have excellent working conditions (air-conditioning, new machines and plenty of work space). Our colleagues have a 45 hour working week, get paid for overtime and our youngest colleague is 19 years old. Their salary is 20% higher than the industry standard. Due to the excellent working conditions and competitive salaries we are able to retain the best people in the region. Also in Vietnam our customers are more than welcome to visit us. Just as in Dubai we will offer them coffee but then made in a traditional way with sweetened milk and ice.
